Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated CNC Machine Tools Application Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining processes, tooling, and applications, and will be responsible for providing technical support, tooling selection, and solutions to customers, ensuring optimal use of CNC machine tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support
- Provide expert technical support to customers regarding CNC machine tools, including suitable tool selection, conducting trials, and troubleshooting.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tooling and machining strategies for their specific applications.
- Develop and optimize machining processes for various materials and components, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Conduct feasibility studies and process simulations to validate machining solutions.
Customer Training
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff on tooling applications, programming, and the benefits of using our brands.
- Maintain training materials and documentation.
Collaboration with Sales
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical insights during the sales process.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and presentations for customers.
- Perform product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of CNC machine tools and applications.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical support provided, and application developments.
- Prepare reports on application performance and customer feedback for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining, tooling, or application engineering.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software and CNC machine operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
